We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Gzira, Malta. In this role, you will ensure our deliverables meet stringent standards through manual testing, and where possible, automating these tests. You will work closely with the development team to contribute to our vision.

Our platform includes web-based applications, REST APIs, message-brokering software, Windows services, and a data platform, all designed to offer a comprehensive solution for player reactivation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of these diverse implementation types and demonstrate the ability to conduct tests across various environments. Proactive testing beyond standard test cases is considered highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Comprehend business requirements.
  
• Create and execute test cases and test plans in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team to ensure efficient and effective release coverage.
  
• Track and report software bugs and glitches, proposing solutions where feasible.
  
• Communicate and collaborate with the development team.
  
• Maintain a test environment for executing test cases.
  
• Maintaining necessary documentation.
  
  

Who are we looking for?

• A minimum of 3 years experience in software testing.
• Strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and tools.
• Fluent in English.
• Working knowledge of an API client is an additional asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps or equivalent will also be considered an additional asset.
