As we continue to scale internationally, we are introducing a new senior role: Head of IT Operations & Cybersecurity. The Role
You will lead and evolve Enteractive’s global IT function, overseeing both strategic direction and day‑to‑day operations. This includes ownership of our Microsoft Azure environment, office and cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and IT support across multiple time zones.
This role requires a leader who is as comfortable designing long‑term roadmaps as they are rolling up their sleeves to solve complex technical challenges. You will be the guardian of our infrastructure, the driver of our cybersecurity maturity, and the backbone of our operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cloud Leadership
Own, manage, and continuously evolve our Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and resilience.
Oversee and maintain office IT infrastructure across Malta and the US, ensuring seamless operations.
IT Operations Management
Lead day‑to‑day IT support for onsite and remote teams, ensuring high service levels and rapid issue resolution.
Act as the final escalation point for complex technical incidents and operational challenges.
Cybersecurity Ownership
Design, implement, and drive cybersecurity initiatives, including:
Security policies and governance
Threat monitoring and detection
Incident response and recovery
Compliance best practices
Ensure our cloud and on‑prem environments meet modern security standards.
Governance, Processes & Documentation
Define and implement IT policies, standards, and documentation.
Oversee identity and access management, including Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, and managed identities.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure secure and efficient user lifecycle management.
Strategic Leadership
Balance long‑term planning with operational execution.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, and scalability across the organisation.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role (Head of IT, IT Manager, or similar).
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments.
Strong expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, managed identities, and identity governance.
Demonstrated experience securing cloud environments, ideally within Azure ecosystems.
Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Exposure to DevOps practices is considered an advantage.
Minimum 3 years in a similar leadership role.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
A proactive, accountable, and solution‑oriented mindset.
