Role Overview:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our financial operations, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will be a key asset to the Head of Finance, handling the US entity’s bookkeeping and management accounts, overseeing the expense management system across all office locations, and actively contributing to ongoing team improvements.
What will you be up to?
Manage the bookkeeping for Enteractive’s US entity including Management Accounts, Payroll & other financial aspects.
Review and manage payroll data for Enteractive’s Malta employees, including commission verification and preparation of detailed reports to support accurate processing by the payroll officer, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timelines.
Oversee the expense management system (Payhawk), ensuring accurate reporting and compliance, and preparing managerial reports to support financial insights and decision-making.
Liaise with banks, including those in the US, to manage transactions and address any banking issues.
Collaborate closely with tax consultants to maintain compliance and deliver accurate financial reporting.
Utilize IT skills, particularly in Excel and Google Apps, to analyze financial data and generate reports.
Act as a primary point of contact for the Commercial team regarding debt collection efforts and provide regular reporting to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Support the Head of Finance with planning and analysis initiatives, including business modelling, as needed to drive strategic decision-making.
Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving abilities.
Our ideal candidate:
Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience. Partly qualified accountants will also be considered.
Strong proficiency in Excel is essential; Experience with Power Query and Power BI is not a must but brings you to the front of the line.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse effectively with tax consultants and banking representatives.
Experience in payroll management and Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.
Previous experience in US finance is a nice-to-have but not required.
Detail-oriented and proactive, with a solution-driven mindset.
Experience collaborating across teams and an understanding of diverse business needs.
Ability to work onsite in Malta.
