Once Enteractive, Always One of Us
At Enteractive, we want people to grow throughout their time with us.
Sometimes that growth leads to a new role within the company. Sometimes it prepares them for an opportunity beyond it. Wherever the next step leads, we value the contribution each person has made and celebrate what they go on to achieve. Because investing in people is not only about helping them succeed in the role they have today, but about helping them become more capable, more confident, and ready for whatever comes next.
Last Friday was an emotional one for us as we bid farewell to Alex Nilsson and Anna Mukhortova, two long-standing and much-loved members of the Enteractive team.
Their roles and career paths couldn’t have been any more different, but their journeys shared something unmistakably Enteractive. Both grew with the company, embraced new challenges, moved through different roles and left a lasting impact on the people around them.
In many ways, their stories reflect so much of what our values, Care, Improve and Dare, mean to us.
Alex’s Story: From Football to Leadership
Alex’s journey with Enteractive began when he moved to Malta to continue his career in European football. At the time, he was a young professional footballer from Sweden with limited experience of the working world and no background in the gaming industry. What attracted him to Enteractive was the company’s strong connection to sport.
As Alex explains: “I knew nothing about the working world, or gambling. I just knew that there was a huge sports focus at Enteractive, and that appealed to me as a young, professional football player.”
What started as a new job soon became the beginning of a much longer journey.
Alex earned his first promotion within a year and continued to progress through the company, eventually becoming Head of (Re)Activation Sales and Captain of Enteractive FC. Along the way, he witnessed Enteractive evolve while building a career of his own.
“I earned a promotion within my first year, and from that point on, I witnessed both my own growth and the company’s evolution. It didn’t take long before I was fully committed.”
Alex’s story is a reminder that careers rarely follow a perfectly predictable path. Sometimes the opportunity that changes everything is not the one you originally set out to find.
Anna’s Story: Taking Growth Into a New Direction
Anna’s journey reflects another equally meaningful side of growth: how one career can prepare you for a completely different one.
Anna joined Enteractive in Learning and Development, moving into Compliance a year later, where she eventually became the Senior Compliance and Responsible Gambling Analyst we all knew and loved.
She’s played an instrumental role in training people, strengthening processes, raising standards, and helping shape the analytical, compliance-focused department we have today in her four years and a half at Enteractive.
One constant throughout Anna’s story has been her desire to help people.
That same sense of purpose now carries her into a new chapter at the Equal Partners Foundation, where she will work as a Developmental Interventionist and Project Manager, a very different role in a very different sector, but one that reflects the breadth of Anna’s experience and the confidence she built during her time at Enteractive.
As Anna shared in her farewell message: “My mission was always to make your work a little easier, your learning a little clearer, and, above all, your journey here a little more enjoyable. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.”
Anna’s journey is a reminder that growth does not always mean taking the next expected step. Sometimes it gives someone the experience, confidence and perspective to take their career in a completely new direction.
What Our Alumni Leave With Us
Alex and Anna’s stories reflect something central to who we are at Enteractive, and that is that people do not simply work here, contribute and move on. They become part of the company’s story, its culture and its DNA. Their ideas shape how we work. Their energy stays with us. Their growth becomes part of our growth.
This is what people can expect from a career at Enteractive. We will challenge them, support them and invest in their development. We will celebrate their progress while they are with us and continue to take pride in what they achieve after they leave.
Because to us, success is not measured only by how long someone stays. It is also measured by who they become, what they contribute and the lasting connection they carry with them into their next chapters.
As our Chief Revenue Officer, Daniel Larsson, put it: “It is inspiring to see what people can become when they have the right mindset, the right attitude, and the willingness to put in the work it takes to grow. It does not matter who you are, what your skill set is, or what you have done before. Whether you work in marketing, reactivation, sales, or anywhere else, what defines a winning mindset is the willingness to do what it takes to get where you want to be.”
Alex and Anna embodied this in many ways, and we are grateful for everything they brought to Enteractive, and proud of the people they have become during their time here. We will miss them deeply, but we are excited to see what they do next.
This farewell may mark the end of one chapter, but the mark they made does not leave with them. Because once an Enteractiver, always an Enteractiver. 💚
